The Derby Drift Dusters Report!

The Derby Drift Dusters say that riding is not recommended at this time. Temperatures have dropped into the single digits and they have received a little bit of snow in the past few days. They are forecasting a couple more inches over the next couple of days, but they still have not recieved enough snow yet to send the groomer out. Have you been out on the trails? North Country Mountaineers Report!

North Country Mountaineers say that on Saturday Dec. 27 and Sunday Dec. 28 they received lots of rain and warm weather. They lost most of there snow and are now waiting for mother nature to help them out with some WHITE GOLD!!! They received 2-4 inches Dec. 30th and was supposed to get another 1-3 inches on Dec 31st. This is still not enough snow to take the groomer back out, but if they receive the storm forecasted for today Jan. 2nd, they may be back in business. The trails are in very bad condition at this time with mostly ice for a base. They suggest you wait for more snow until you ride the trails again. Have you been out on the trails? Orleans Snowstormers Report

The Orleans Snowstormers say due to warm weather and rain they have lost most of there trails. They are hoping to resume grooming as soon as the conditions allow them. Have you been out on the trails? Email me about there condition and I'll post it for other riders! dianne@scenesofvermont.com
