Admission to Wagon Ride Wednesdays includes all programs and

Remembrance: A Memorial
First time in VT!
A collective, collaborative artistic response
to loss, honoring fallen service members and those who continue to
serve. It is dedicated to families who continue to sacrifice, not only
through death, but from time away from loved ones. Each abstract
figurative sculpture belongs to the masses. Its progression is
influenced by the investment of each individual and therefore continues
to grow and evolve. Mon. -

Foodways Friday at Billings Farm & Museum
Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont's rural heritage,
announces a program designed for children and adults to discover how to
use heirloom garden vegetables in historic recipes prepared in the 1890
Farm House kitchen. Foodways Fridays will be offered each
Friday this summer and fall, from July 16 through October 15, 2010 from
10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. and will feature recipes during the late
19th century. Visiting families can learn about the history, importance, and uses
of old vegetable varieties and watch as they are prepared into seasonal
dishes in the farmhouse kitchen. Each Friday will feature recipes to
take home.

Ice Cream Sundays at Billings Farm & Museum
Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont's rural heritage, will
feature Ice Cream Sundays every Sunday from July 18 September
19, at noon and 3:00 p.m. Visitors can participate in making
the homemade ice cream and tasting! A different flavor will be made
each time and a narrated explanation will be given from scientific and
historical perspectives.
